The Cintas Graduate Ethics Fellowship Program is now Accepting Applications from Current Xavier Evening MBA Students.
The application deadline is May 15th.
Through the generous support of the Farmer Family Foundation, Richard Farmer and Bob Kohlhepp, the Cintas Institute for Business Ethics is instituting the Cintas Ethics Fellows Program. This program will work with three different groups within the Williams College of Business - faculty, undergraduate students and graduate students.
The Cintas Faculty Ethics Fellows will be selected from the Williams College of Business', full-time faculty, who incorporate ethics related issues into their research or teaching. This Fellowship last for two (2) years, and awardees receive a stipend of $4,000.00 per year. Two (2) Cintas Faculty Ethics Fellowship will be awarded each year, and previous awardees must wait at least two years, before reapplying. Please click here for a further description of the program. The Cintas Undergraduate Ethics Fellows will be selected from Williams College of Business' undergraduate students, participating in an Alternative Break program for Xavier University students. Up to twenty (20) awardees will receive up to a maximum amount of $300 to be applied towards their Alternative Break expenses. For a further description of the program, please click here. The Cintas Graduate Ethics Fellows will be selected from graduate students who have been fully accepted into the Williams College of Business' Masters of Business Administration program. To be eligible to apply, students must be in good academic standing (3.0 GPA, or better) and have taken at least six (6) credit hours of graduate business credits from the following courses: BUAD 609: Business Ethics Through Film, BUAD 622: Healthcare Law and Ethics, BUAD 681: International Ethics (Doing Business in London international study trip), BUAD 690: Corporate Governance, MGMT 613: Strengths-based Leadership, MGMT 614: Principles of Leadership, MGMT 615: Values Based Leadership, MGMT 621: Corporate Citizenship - Sustainability, MKTG 670: Ethical Issues in Marketing. Awardees of the Cintas Graduate Ethics Fellowship will be entitled to be reimbursed for the tuition of one of these remaining electives, after successfully completing the course, with a final grade of "B" or higher.
