Career Road Trips Flyer - Fall 2010

The Career Road Trip to the Real World program is just what it implies - a road trip visiting local employers to learn about the careers and internships they have to offer!

A select group of sophomore and junior students will have the opportunity to travel around the Cincinnati area to visit with employers as well as interns and alumni at each site.  Sites include corporate and non-profit organizations including Procter & Gamble and the Freedom Center

The program will take place Friday, November 12 - Saturday, November 13.  All meals, travel and overnight lodging accommodations will be covered for each participant through a grant made possible by the Women of Excellence Giving Circle.

To apply for the program, you must apply via eRecruiting and submit a resume and a statement of interest (minimum 150 words) explaining why you would like to attend the Career Road Trip to the Real World and what you hope to gain from this experience.  Instructions on how to do this are listed below.

The deadline to apply to participate in this program is Wednesday, November 3, 2010.

If selected, students will be required to submit a updated resume (each organization will receive a resume book of all student attendees after the program), a $25 refundable deposit (we will return your deposit to you the first day of the trip, Friday, November 12) and attend a Career Road Trip Prep Session.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jonika Moore-Diggs at moorej3@xavier.edu.
