The event takes place at the Taft Center today, Tuesday, Dec. 17 | November 19, 2013

The Higher Education Forum: University of You is a discussion among the presidents of six area colleges and universities about trends and initiatives they are implementing involving their students’ preparation for the workplace after graduation.

The breakfast event, sponsored by the Cincinnati Business Courier, takes place today, Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. at the Taft Center, second floor of US Bank Tower, Fifth and Walnut streets.

Presidents attending are: Anthony J. Aretz, College of Mount St. Joseph; David Armstrong, Thomas More College; Michael J. Graham, S.J., Xavier University; David C. Hodge, Miami University; G. Edward Hughes, Gateway Community and Technical College; and Santa J. Ono, University of Cincinnati.

“The combination of a still-tough economy and significant tuition costs have forced most Americans to take a close, hard look at ‘bang for the buck,’" the Courier said in its release. “Potential students (and their parents) want to know exactly what their investment will be worth on the job market. This discussion provides an opportunity to hear what local colleges are doing RIGHT NOW to address these issues.”

The event includes breakfast and the panel discussion from 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Learn more at the event website.
