Nike Cline-Bailey and Rose McGrory honored as inaugural Web Master's of the Year

On Friday, August 8, 2008, the Office of Web Services awarded the inaugural Xavier Web Master of the Year award to Nike Cline-Bailey and Rose McGory.

Nike regularly updates the Human Resources web site to include information about job opportunity, benefits for employees and other important HR related information. She also regularly contributes to the MyXU Portal. Nike posts all of the Job Opportunities so that employees have convenient access to those through the portal.

Rose has spearheaded the production of an update Budget Office web site. With a new look and updated user interface, the Budget Office web site has loads of information to support on-campus budget administrator and those with budget needs. Rose regularly updates her site and works with the Web Services team to help de-bug issues and bring quality points to make products like Campusuite even better.

Nike and Rose completed their Web Master certifications as well along with 20 other Xavier employees during Web Week 2008. Those who completed the certifications took the "web core classes" of HTML and Campusuite as well as two other elective courses.
