MATH & CS Department Seminar: Rambling in MATH 115 - A new algorithm

Mathematics and Computer Science professor Dr. David Berry will discuss his experiences teaching MATH 115 at Xavier.  He says:

MATH 115, Topics in Applied Mathematics, has always been a joy to teach.  For the length of each classroom meeting, I am totally lost in sharing one of the most pleasurable of all subjects: Mathematics. Join me as I ramble through some of the topics that have given me such joy.  See a new algorithm that saved me from utter despair as I developed the online version of this course.  All in all, it has been a walk in the park for me.

This event will take place on Wednesday, February 20 at 1:30pm in G27 Smith Hall.  Light refreshments will be available 15 minutes prior to the start of seminar.
