Health Services Director Named One of 100 Great Health Administration Professors Nationally
Nancy Linenkugel, OSF, DM, chair of the department of health services administration and director of the graduate program in health services administration at Xavier University since 2011, has been named one of 100 Great Health Administration Professors nationally by MHA Guide.
Healthcare administration is one of the nation’s fastest growing career fields. Professors in the field help create policies, guidelines and ideas in the career. Because of the crucial role professors and academic leaders play in the overall landscape of our healthcare system, MHA Guide has the 2013 List of 100 Great Health Administration Professors. Professionals named to the list strengthen students, alumni, and their own schools. The criteria were based on the personal achievements and leadership positions of these individuals as well as the reputation of their respective institutions. The list is not ranked because all of those listed have a great impact on their field and their institution.
Linenkugel earned her doctoral degree in management from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, a master’s in health services administration from Xavier University, and a bachelor’s degree from Mary Manse College in Toledo. She teaches graduate courses in professional development. Her book, Wisdom from Mergers: Voices of Experience, is based on her doctoral dissertation.
