Stephanie Rond is a native of Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her most recent body of work concerns gender, craft and the culture of graffiti and street art. Rond says, Head to Toe is both a literal and figurative translation. The images are focused on heads and feet, but the title also represents an exploration of humanity in general. Relationships, introspection, gossip, gender roles, conformity, community, philosophy, beauty, love, hate, frailty and aggression are many of the human themes explored.”
