The doors for employment in America have opened wider than ever for minorities, but the cement ceiling is still thick. This is why the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Career Services Center have partnered to offer the Good is Not Enough panel for diverse students (LGBT, multi-cultural, international, students of color, women, etc.) PLEASE ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO ATTEND OR CONSIDER ATTENDING YOURSELF.

Good is Not Enough serves as the kick-off event to our annual series, Uncensored: Perform. Deliver. Produce! Good is Not Enough is based on the book, “Good is Not Enough” by Keith R. Wyche.
Uncensored: Perform. Deliver. Produce! is open to talented, diverse students as an opportunity to receive critical insight from employers in anticipation for internships and career opportunities. Uncensored will educate students from various backgrounds for the competitive job market and teach valuable workplace skills.

| Description: | The doors for employment in America have opened wider than ever for diverse candidates, but the cement ceiling is still thick. Students of various backgrounds (LGBT, multicultural, international, students of color, women, etc.) are invited to learn from successful panelists about their strategies for success in the workplace. There are many unwritten workplace rules. This program is designed to get to the core about these experiences in the workplace that are often not talked about, but eventually learned. This panel serves as the kick-off event for a year-long professional development series, Uncensored: Perform. Deliver. Produce! Sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) and the Career Services Center, your participation will help you prepare for the workplace as well as help Xavier develop multicultural and diverse students to be competitive, confident, and credible – fully committed to excellence.
