GPHSA Alumnus Included in Top 25 Minority Executives in Healthcare

Anthony Armada Named to 2008 List by Modern Healthcare

Anthony Armada, FACHE, president and CEO of Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network, Detroit, Michigan has been named as one of the 2008 Top 25 Minority Executives in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare, a sister publication of Crain's.

 

Armada joined Henry Ford in 2004, In his role, he oversees Henry Ford Hospital, Henry Ford Cottage Hospital, Behavioral Health Services and 30 health care centers throughout metro Detroit.  Previously, he was senior vice president at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California.

 

Last year, Armada was appointed chairman of the Asian Health Care Leaders Association (AHCLA), a newly formed organization whose goal is to increase the presence of Pan-Asian executives in the health care field.

 

Armada is an alumnus - Class of 1987 in the dual MBA/MHA program.
