Engagement of Alumni: A Key to Sustainability for Health Services Administration Programs

Over the past years, membership and active participation with alumni associations has declined for many health care management programs. As we compete for the attention and support of our graduates, we must continually engage this constituency in order to survive in the future. Engaging alumni includes their participation in strategy development, financial support, professional support, networking and mentorship. Xavier University developed a comprehensive strategic plan to address this important strategic goal.
