Faculty Art Exhibition opening reception on Friday, Feb. 21, features the works of nine faculty-artists

Exhibits include painting, fiber art, ceramics, print-making, sculpture and photography | February 20, 2014

The 2014 Xavier University Faculty Art Exhibition featuring the works of nine faculty members from the Department of Art holds its opening reception on Friday, Feb. 21, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the Xavier University Art Gallery in the A.B. Cohen Center. Refreshments are provided, and the event is open to the public. 

The exhibition features recent works in ceramics, fiber art, painting, photography, print-making and sculpture. Visitors to the reception can view the art and meet the aritists. They include department chair Kelly Phelps and faculty members Suzanne Chouteau, Bruce Erikson, Jonathan Gibson, Marsha Karagheusian, and adjunct faculty Chris Hoeting, Jordanne Renner, Dana Tindall and Kitty Uetz.

The exhibit opened Feb. 14 and is on display through March 14. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Learn more about the art department faculty and the degrees offered to students at the department's website.
