In an effort to minimize barriers that may prevent students with children from graduating and help create a more family friendly environment for faculty and staff, Xavier University Women’s Center in collaboration with the Student Government Association has developed the XU Babysitting Referral Program. The program functions as a clearinghouse for parents interested in utilizing Xavier students as babysitters. This program is a referral program and Xavier is only responsible for coordinating information of student childcare providers and families seeking childcare. Screening, payment and coordination of schedules is the responsibility of the family and the student willing to provide care. This program is only available to Xavier students, faculty and staff and student childcare providers and families will need to sign an agreement/waiver which outlines requirements of the program.
