Bestselling author and former Nixon advisor Kevin Phillips presents the real facts about our current economic crisis, insight into how we got there and his thoughts on where we go from here. Presented by the Xavier University Institute for Politics and Public Life, the discussion with Phillips takes place on Wednesday, April 22, at 7:00 p.m. in the Schiff Conference Center at Xavier’s Cintas Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Phillips was a strategic advisor to President Richard Nixon and the former editor/publisher of The American Political Report. He has contributed to the Los Angeles Times and The Wall Street Journal and is a regular commentator for National Public Radio. His New York Times bestselling books include the recently published Bad Money, as well as American Theocracy, American Dynasty, and Wealth and Democracy.
The Institute for Politics and Public Life aims to provide leadership in national discussions of politics and public policy in an academic setting. The Institute also serves as a center for researching crucial matters of public policy and governance, and disseminating its findings to the public.
