The Xavier University women's basketball team encourages everyone to have “A Healthy Xperience” Wednesday, February 18 at Cintas Center as the Musketeers take on the LaSalle Explorers at 10:00 am.

 

Over 7,100 students in grades 3-8 have participated in Xavier Youth Day during the last three years. This year, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield is the official sponsor and the American Heart Association is offering its support.

 

Xavier Youth Day begins when students arrive in their buses at 9:30 a.m. This year’s program will include demonstrations from a martial arts teacher, Xavier student-athletes, Xavier athletic trainers, and an appearance by one of the women’s basketball coaches. Students will also be treated to on-court interactive contests and in-game promotions to get them involved. They will be provided with an electric atmosphere that will teach them the importance of living a healthy life. Students will enjoy their lunches with a healthful drink from Xavier before the game tips off at 10:00. Tickets to the Xavier vs. LaSalle game are only $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for youth 17 and under. Groups of 15 or more can get $2.00 off. Groups will be announced on the videoboard and over the public address system if tickets are purchased in advance of game day. For basketball tickets call (513) 745-3411.
