4 students make presentations at Miami University Undergraduate Research in Mathematics Conference

On Friday, September 27, four Math majors from the department attended the Miami University Conference on Undergraduate Research in Mathematics.  In addition to attending the main conference, the students all gave excellent talks at the Pi Mu Epsilon Conference.  The titles of the talks were:

Caitlin Snyder:  Spatial Analysis: Political Mapping
Adam Bryan: The Mathematical Difficulty of Kicking a Field Goal
Sean Gravelle: Graph Theoretic Models of Interdependent Preferences in Referendum Elections
Matt Jones: Apply Time Management to Monte Carlo Go
