The 2009-2010 theme is "Dare to Dream, Strive to Succeed"
On behalf of the University Scholarship Committee and the Black Student Association, the Office of Multicultural Affairs is pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2010 Antonio Johnson Scholarship Award. Any member of the Xavier community may nominate a student of African descent for this prestigious scholarship that will be awarded at the 34th Annual Antonio Johnson Scholarship Banquet on Friday, April 16, 2010. The scholarship is worth, full tuition, fees, room and board, and books. The winner will be awarded the scholarship for his or her senior year.

The nomination process is very simple and we encourage you to participate and continue a Xavier tradition of recognizing the contributions of our African and African American students. Feel free to make copies to share with colleagues or to make multiple nominations.
Please note the nomination deadline is Friday, November 20th at 5:00 p.m. All nomination forms must be returned to the Office of Multicultural Affairs. The campus mail location is #2311. We strongly urge you to honor the deadline for nominees to be considered.
