12 and 15 Passenger Van Driver Safety Training

Risk Management offers van defensive driver program | October 28, 2009

 

Students and employees who drive a 12 or 15 passenger van insured by the university must attend mandatory van defensive driver training including on-road drive time offered through the Risk Management office. There is no charge for the training. To register, please contact townsley@xavier.edu or call x2090. Minimum registration requirements must be met. Cancellations will be posted on the Risk Management website. 

Prior authorization to drive a university-insured vehicle is required for students and employees. University-insured vehicles may include any vehicle owned, rented or leased in the university’s name. All drivers must be at least 21 years of age. 
Classroom sessions are held in Flynn Hall and are followed by on-road driving a 15 passenger van. Please allow two hours to complete the safety course (classroom and driving).

NEW TRAINING DATES WILL BE SCHEDULED IN JANUARY
