Burglary of a Residences

Four Apartments on Dana Ave have been burglarized over the past month.  Some of the burglaries occurred when the residents were home.  The suspects forced entry and were able to gain entry through unlocked door.  Electronic equipment and personal property are being taken.

Prevention Advice

The Xavier Police would like to remind all members of the Xavier Community to report any suspicious activity on campus to 513-745-1000 or off campus dial 911.

• Lock and secure exterior and interior apartment and building doors.
• Report any suspicious person or activity to local police.
• Please make sure to pay attention to your neighbor’s residence.
• Consider the installation of an alarm system for your apartment or house.
• Keep an inventory or valuables including serial numbers.
• Look into renter’s insurance for your property.
