The Xavier University Department of Music is housed in Edgecliff Hall. Certain rooms are available to student groups, as well as groups and individuals outside of Xavier who require rehearsal/performance space. Authorization from a faculty member is required for room usage. In order to make a reservation, fill out and submit this form no later than 48 hours in advance. Requests without adequate notice are subject to immediate dismissal.

Individuals or groups requiring keys to gain access to rooms must provide a $100 security deposit. Your deposit will be refunded upon returning the keys following your event. All keys must be returned at the end of each semester.

Please note that if your event requires the use of a piano, a fee will be assessed. Other fees may be applied dependent on usage of the room space. Reservations for outside groups and individuals are very limited and will be charged on a per-event basis. Please review our Fee Schedule for specific details.

Once your form has been received, the department will contact you to confirm the reservation. A request does not guarantee the use of the space, especially during academic semesters in the Fall and Spring.
