Back in February, Xavier Piano Faculty member Sonya Szabo Reynolds attended the International Janácek Festival and Conference at the university of North Texas. The event featured many distinguished Czech musicians, composers and scholars.

Adjunct Faculty member Kevin Ebert attended the International Conference on Heavy Metal and Popular Culture at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, April 4-7. He presented a session entitled "Bridging the Divide? Classical Music and Popular Culture in Symphonic Metal."
