The McAuley Music Scholarship

Two half-tuition scholarships are awarded at the Annual Music Scholarship Competition in the spring to outstanding music applicants to Xavier based upon musical talent and achievement.

Only Music and Music Education majors can apply for the Music Scholarship.

Music Grants

The department of music offers music grants in varying amounts up to $5,000 to students who intend to major in music. Auditions may be scheduled during scholarship audition dates by contacting the department of music. All music scholarships and grants are renewable each year for four years.

Only Music and Music Education majors can apply for Music Grants.

Performing Arts Grants

These highly competitive grants in amounts up to $2,000 per year are annually awarded to excellent student musicians who participate in instrumental or vocal ensembles, regardless of their major course of study. See below for more information.

Anyone may apply for the Performing Arts Grant, regardless of his or her major.
