Music Scholarships

The McAuley Music Scholarship

Two half-tuition scholarships are awarded at the Annual Music Scholarship Competition in the spring to outstanding music applicants to Xavier based upon musical talent and achievement.

Music Grants

The department of music offers music grants in varying amounts up to $5,000 to students who intend to major in music. Auditions may be scheduled during scholarship audition dates by contacting the department of music. All music scholarships and grants are renewable each year for four years.

Performing Arts Grants

These grants in amounts up to $2,000 per year are annually awarded on a competitive basis to qualified students participating in instrumental or vocal ensembles, regardless of their major course of study. See below for more information.

Prospective students must be accepted for admission to Xavier University in order to be considered for a scholarship or grant.
