The Career Services Center is pleased to offer the following sessions providing information about public service jobs and internship opportunities, which may be of particular interest to your majors. Faculty and staff are welcome to attend these sessions and we hope you will encourage your students to attend.

U.S. State Department Information Session (see attached flyer)

Diplomat-in-Residence Michael McClellan will offer an Information Session on Foreign Service and State Department careers that will outline the various career options available in the U.S. Foreign Service and Civil Service, as well as information on State Department internships for students. The FS Officer Selection Process will also be reviewed, as well as issues about Foreign Service life and how best to prepare for a career in International Affairs. All students and members of the university community are welcome to attend.

This webinar, presented by the Partnership for Public Service, is intended for students interested in finding and applying for internships in the federal government, as well as advisors looking for more information and opportunities to share with their students. A number of internships across government will be highlighted during this session, and students will learn how to research, find, and apply for an internship that is right for them.
