The Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Career Services Center will host the sixth annual Diversity Reception
on Thursday, February 9, 2012. The reception will took place from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
The reception is a networking event connecting students from diverse backgrounds and students who have an interest in working for diversity-friendly organizations with employers who embrace and support diversity throughout their organization and the community. All XU students and alumni are invited to attend the Diversity Reception. Pre-registration for the Diversity Reception is not required, however encouraged. Click here for more information and to RSVP (the first 50 students will receive official Xavier business cards).
Career and Academic Resources
Periodically, the Office of Multicultural Affairs is contacted by businesses and non-profit organizations about scholarship, internship and job opportunities for students of color and those that are underrepresented. We do not solicit these requests; we simply make information available for students who are willing to open the door to new possibilities. You can find out more about individual offerings by following the links below or to your left.
Additionally, the Office of Multicultural Affairs will now host 15-Minute Walk-In Career Advising Schedule. To see the schedule, click here. We also encourage you to utilize the resources available to you through the Career Services Center, or the Williams College of Business.
Xavier University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs, a department in the Division of Student Life and Leadership, exists to help the University realize its diversity goals. Multicultural Affairs provides services and programs to enrich the academic, cultural and social experiences of Xavier students.
