Fraternity and Sorority Life

In the Spring of '04, the Office of Multicultural Affairs launched the Black Greek Council. Although Xavier is a non-Greek campus, the presence of historically black Greek-letter organizations was granted in 1991. Currently the following organizations exist: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

The Black Greek Council Manual was created as a guide for all those affiliated with the Greek Life at Xavier Univesity. In it you will find Policies and Guidelines, Constitution and Bylaws, Chapter Paperwork, Membership Information, Advisor Information, Hazing Policy and Grade Release, and other useful information.
