Spanish Majors Accepted as Assistants in Spain

Will work in Spanish schools for 2008-09 academic year

Two Xavier University Spanish majors recently were accepted by the Education Office of the Spanish Ministry of Education as Language and Culture Assistants in Spain for the 2008-09 academic year. Alicia Plachecki ('08, Pittsburgh, PA) and Danielle Butcher ('07, Cincinnati) will be assigned to an elementary, middle, or secondary school in Andalucía, the southern region of the country.
