Modern Languages Professor Presents at Louisville Conference

Continues study of Central American poet

Dr. José María Mantero, an associate professor in the Department of Modern Languages, recently presented an article entitled “Mi íntima multitud de Gioconda Belli y la representación lírica de Nicaragua" at the Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture Since 1900. With this project, Dr. Mantero continues his focus on the contemporary Nicaraguan poet, who has become one of the strongest feminist voices in Central America.
