We are now gathering information for Hispania's well-known annual feature, "Dissertations in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Languages and Literatures." Hispania's Annual List has for many years been the prime source of up-to-date information about dissertations in the profession. Even if there are no dissertations completed or in progress this year, please send a reply to knutson@xavier.edu. The deadline for submission of all information is December 1, 2011.

Thank you for your time and attention. Be sure your department's work is represented.

Submission Guidelines
Type the information on the appropriate form, as either a COMPLETED DISSERTATION (defended) or DISSERTATION IN PROGRESS. Be sure to complete ALL ITEMS. This will assist us in accurately compiling the necessary data and in meeting editorial deadlines. Only dissertations that actually have been or will be defended by December 1, 2011 should be submitted as "completed." Dissertations completed in previous years but not included in last year's list may be added now.

Items for which more than one category is checked will be classified as "Multiregional,” "Multigeneric," “Multiple Languages,” and “Multiple Areas,” as appropriate.
