Manresa Overnight - What You Need to Know
Welcome new colleagues!
We hope the beginning of the academic year has gone smoothly for each of you.
As you know, Manresa Overnight is just around the corner! We have 20 “veteran” faculty, staff and administrators preparing a memorable event for you. The Transfiguration Spirituality Center has lovely grounds that will provide the setting for this relaxed 24 hours of discussion and reflection on Xavier's mission.
Please arrive on Friday, September 13 between 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. The program will conclude at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14.
Here are a few important links as you prepare to join us:
- Driving directions from Xavier University to the Transfiguration Spirituality Center. Travel time between the XU campus and the retreat center is 20-30 minutes.

With regards to accommodations, everyone will have a private room with a bed, closet, sink, mirror and desk. Bed linen, towels and sheets are provided. Many rooms will have a private bath. However some rooms will share restrooms and showers by gender. A bathrobe comes in handy for walking down the hall to the restrooms/showers at night.
Dress is casual, please be comfortable.
