Ruth J. and Robert A. Conway Institute for Jesuit Education

The Ruth J. and Robert A. Conway Institute for Jesuit Education at Xavier University is a center of distinction, assisting educators in transforming students intellectually, morally, and spiritually in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition, while appropriating Ignatian pedagogy and spirituality in today's world. The Conway Faculty Fellow

The Conway Fellowship is an initiative of the new Ruth J. and Robert A. Conway Institute for Jesuit Education that is located in the Center for Mission and Identity in Fenwick Place. The Institute assists educators in transforming students intellectually, morally and spiritually in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition, while appropriating Ignatian pedagogy and spirituality in today's world.

About Ruth and Robert Conway

The Conways, married 51 years with eight children and 19 grandchildren, have supported Xavier in many ways over the years from the "All for One Club" to the landmark exhibit "A Blessing to One Another: Pope John Paul II and the Jewish People." Robert Conway served as a member of the Board of Trustees for 14 years, 6 of which were as chair of the Jesuit Identity Committee. In May of 2009, Xavier presented Robert Conway with its Distinguished Alumnus Award in recognition of his commitment to Jesuit values, his personal achievements, and his outstanding service to both Xavier and society.
