1. What is the difference between accrued leave and advanced leave?

Accrued leave is leave earned and advanced leave is leave borrowed prior to accrual.

2. What is a "pass"?

An authorized absence from post or place of duty that is not charged as leave.

3. What is the time frame criteria for a four day pass?

It must include at least two non-duty days and cannot exceed 96 hours.

4 Accrued leave will not exceed how many days at the end of the fiscal year?

60 days.

5. Why is Permissive TDY authorized?

To attend or participate in activities of a semi-official nature that is mutually beneficial to the Army and Soldier.

6. What is the difference between ordinary leave and convalescent leave?

Ordinary leave is charge against the soldier and convalescent leave is not, because it is treatment prescribed by a Doctor.

7. If a soldier returns from leave on a non-duty day, is that day charged as leave?

No.

8. How often must you have a Dental examination?

At least once a year.

9. Why do units have duty rosters?

So all personnel perform equal amounts of duty.
