Academics
Army ROTC is an elective at Xavier University. You will attend your ROTC classes alongside the classes in the major that you choose. Academics are the most important part of ROTC. Below is the list of ROTC classes that you will take at Xavier. In addition to the classes you will particiapte in Army Physical Fitness Training 3 days a week. In the summer between your junior and senior year you will also attend the Leadership, Development and Assessent Course at Fort Lewis, Washington.
Course Structure
Freshman Year

These courses focus on developing individual skills and confidence building which form the basis of leadership. These courses cover topics such as rappelling, marksmanship, first aid, and other fundamental skills. These courses are open to non-ROTC students without military obligation. |
