Xavier Administrator Receives National Award
Christina Swift of Goshen (45122), Recruitment and Promotions Coordinator for Xavier University’s Graduate Program in Health Services Administrationwas presented with The Future Leaders Award by NAGAP (the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals) at its 22nd annual conference on April 23 in New York City.
The award is presented to an individual in the Association who has displayed leadership and enthusiasm to the profession and also to the Association.
Swift has been a member of NAGAP since 2006, the same year she started at Xavier. She serves on its Marketing and Membership committee, as co-chair this year. She is responsible for recruiting people to join NAGAP and the committee thinks of ways to increase membership numbers and retain current members. She is also on next year’s conference committee, and will help plan the annual conference for all the members.
A native of Louisville, Swift received her Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations from Xavier in 2006 and her Executive Master’s degree in Human Resource Development in 2009. Her parents, Dr. James & Mrs. Barbara Swift, still reside in Louisville (40223).
