Health Services Administration Alumni Named President and CEO
John M. Fogarty will lead St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island

FOGARTY NAMED TO LEAD ST. JOSEPH HEALTH SERVICES
OF RHODE ISLAND

Fogarty has served as executive vice president and acting CEO since last year, when longtime CEO John Keimig resigned to take a position with Quality Partners of Rhode Island. He has been part of the management team at SJHSRI since 1988, and has served as its executive vice president since 2003.
During his tenure at SJHSRI, Fogarty has played a key role in the evolution of the St. Joseph Health system, including leading the development of specialty rehabilitation and psychiatric services at the
Bishop Thomas Tobin, Chairman of the SJHSRI Board of Trustees stated “John Fogarty is the strong, consensus choice to lead our organization during what will most assuredly be a pivotal time in our corporate history.
