Alumni Association Update
A recent series of meetings concluded that a closer alignment with the Xavier University alumni association would benefit the alumni association of the Graduate Program in Health Services Administration. The University has many programs and tools that the association can share and leverage to improve communication and offer benefits to the GPHSA alumni. This collaboration does not affect our 501 c (3) status.
As part of this change, the president of the GPHSA Alumni Association will become an at-large member of the University’s Alumni Association Board. This seat will give the GPHSA Alumni Association a stronger presence nationally. In addition, the annual alumni dues will be replaced with a defined annual giving program directed to the Health Services Administration department. Additional details will be announced as they are developed.
Lastly, the executive board would like to shift towards more electronic communications. Please send your e-mail address and other updated personal information through the website at http://www.xavier.edu/mhsa/alumni/professional-update.cfm. We look forward to hearing from you!
Any feedback is welcome on these changes. Please reply to Chad Wiggins, president of the GPHSA Alumni Association, at xumhsa@xavier.edu.
