Certificate in Foundations of Health Services Administration

Overview

The Xavier University certificate in the foundations of health services administration provides students in the Xavier doctoral program in psychology a knowledge base in health care administration necessary to run an independent practice. Students complete 15-17 hours of coursework.

Courses

The Xavier certificate in the foundations of health services administration consists of eleven credit hours of core courses and four to six hours of elective courses taken on a part-time basis for four semesters. Thirteen hours are taken in the graduate program in health services administration and two hours are taken in the Williams College of Business.
