Celebrating 50 Years

Ida Critelli Schick
Professor and Chair/Director

Xavier celebrated the 50th anniversary of the graduate program in health services administration on Oct. 10, with a day of learning, dialogue, camaraderie, reminiscing and enjoyment. The morning featured keynote speaker Jeff Goldsmith, PhD, as he took “A Look Over the Horizon.” Responding to Goldsmith—while presenting their own perspectives—was our distinguished panel.

In the evening, the banquet rooms were transformed into a truly gala environment with good food, drink, music and renewed friendships, as well as new friends made. Serving as Master of Ceremonies was Mark Meyers, Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Health, and Education. Over the course of the short program, Tom Urban and Pamela Zipperer-Davis were named Outstanding Preceptors of the Year. It was a truly wonderful evening celebrating our past and enthusiastically looking forward to our future.
