Alumni Update
Dave Dornheggen
President, HSA Alumni Association
Those who missed the 50th anniversary celebration of the graduate program in health services administration missed an outstanding evening of learning, teaching, reminiscing and relaxing. We looked back over a history of success as we saw plans unfold for the future of the University. Our thanks go to Ida Schick, Tina Farrell and everyone involved in creating such an unforgettable tribute to an accomplished program.
Looking ahead, the new alumni association web site is in development and targeted to go live in early 2009. The site, accessible through the MHSA home page, offers new ways to keep you up to date on the latest developments and help you connect with faculty, students and fellow alumni.
In January, you will receive your ballot for the election of alumni association board members, along with your dues statement. Please submit your votes as soon as possible to help continue development of this association.
Also, mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 24, 2009, as we host the annual alumni dinner meeting at the ACHE Congress in Chicago. During the meeting, we will present our distinguished alumni service award.
Please keep in touch. Our long-time executive secretary Norma Jean Rosskopf would love to hear from you.
