Alumni Association Update
Chad Wiggins
It is with much zeal and pride I provide the MHSA Alumni Association update.
This is the time of year where we have the privilege of bestowing our annual DASA award and this year’s recipient is most worthy. Mr. David Dornheggen ’73, Chief Operating Officer of Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio is our 2010 DASA as well as a dear friend and mentor. David’s accomplishments are tremendous and he definitely represents the Alumni Association well. This year also brings forth an inaugural award, the Dr. Ed Arlinghaus Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes extraordinary effort and support of our Program by a non?alumnus. We could not have asked for a more deserving recipient than our own Dr. Ida Critelli Schick. On behalf of our Alumni, thank you for tremendous support and guidance over the past 20 years.
Thanks to our many alumni that have supported our move to provide scholarships to students in place of the annual dues. We hope that you will continue support the MHSA students and give back to the program that shaped so many of our careers. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions for how the alumni association can better serve the MHSA family, please email xumhsa@xavier.edu.
In service,
C. Chad Wiggins ‘96
