chelsea bramelThe Class of 2013 is full of students with diverse work experiences and previous degrees, from business to biology to English. Strong Midwestern ties remain, as in the past. Our top feeder schools are our own Xavier University, followed by Ohio University, Ohio State, Miami University, University of Kentucky and University of Cincinnati. About 46 percent of the class worked for at least one year prior to enrolling in the program compared to last year's 55 percent.

Xavier's MHSA program is the right choice regardless of whether a student starts straight out of undergraduate school or after gaining some work experience.

Chelsea Bramel decided to start the program after graduating from OU. "With the status of our economy, earning a master's degree is the right path for me," she says.

However, Marc Roderick joined Xavier's program with hands-on experience in another field. After working in the financial industry for three years, I realized I needed a profession with more depth," says Roderick. "Xavier proved to be second to none and had all the elements to get my career started."
