Alumni Association Update

Chad Wiggins, '96

With the arrival of our new Chair, Dr. Nancy Linenkugel, OSF, DM, LFACHE, the energy and focus related to taking our department to even greater heights of success has never been stronger. Dr. Nancy brings a wealth of healthcare experience, both didactic and experiential to the H S A Department.

While our Graduate Program continues to be our signature degree, we have started a successful undergraduate program and are continuing development of the DHA (Doctoral) program.

We have several Board initiatives including:

1. Formation of stronger mentor/ mentee program
2. Academic based scholarship
3. Diversity scholarship
4. Stipend award for a resident that accepts the challenge of a rural or un-paid residency experience
5. Development of a stronger Women’s Resource Group

Thanks to our many alumni that have supported our move to provide scholarships to students in place of the annual dues. We hope that you will continue support the MHSA students and give back to the program that shaped so many of our careers.
