Scholarships available
for continuing or transfer students in fall 2007
Thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation,
Xavier University is awarding ten scholarships of $2,000
to students who major in mathematics or computer science
and will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors in fall
2007. Both continuing and transfer students are eligible.
Scholarship recipients also receive priority access
to conference travel funding.
Scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial
need. In order to become eligible for a scholarship,
students must:
- Be a declared major at Xavier University in either
mathematics or computer science (continuing students).
- Apply to Xavier University with an intended major
in either mathematics or computer science by February
26, 2007 (transfer students).
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) and file by February 26, 2007.
- Complete the Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
Scholarship (CSEMS) application (see below), postmarked
on or before February 26, 2007.
