Scholarships available
for students entering Xavier in fall 2007
Thanks to a grant from the National Science Foundation,
Xavier University is awarding eight scholarships of
$3,125 per year to first year students who major in
mathematics or computer science. Scholarship recipients
also receive priority access to conference travel funding.
Scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial
need. In order to become eligible for a scholarship,
students must:
- Apply to Xavier by December 1, 2006.
- Intend to major in either mathematics or computer
science.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) and file by February 14, 2007.
- Complete the Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
Scholarship (CSEMS) application (see below), postmarked
on or before December 1, 2006.
