5. When is
citation unnecessary?
- When
you are using your own original observations, thoughts, or opinions:
in a case study, lab report, or experiment.
- When
you are using "common knowledge" or information which
can be found in many places and is likely to be known by many
people. (example)
When
in doubt, cite your source!
