3E. How can Plagiarism be avoided? Citation style

Citation style is dependent on the kind of information you are using. Some common citation styles are:

  • Modern Language Association - MLA
  • American Psychological Association - APA
  • Chicago - style book from the University of Chicago
  • Turabian - for papers in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences
  • American Management Association Style Guide for Business Writing - AMA
  • The Bluebook - law citations.

Ask your professor which citation style to use in your work. Connect to other citation style guides.
