Glossary links: A glossary is provided
to define unfamiliar terms. Glossary terms are in red boldface;
e.g., authority

displaying the definition. It is essential that you click
the <<close window>> hot spot before clicking
another link.

small windows displaying database features and other information.
Most of these are in blue boldface; e.g., example. Again, it is essential that you click the <<close window>> hot spot before clicking another link.
Video clip links: Video clip links show a short movie demonstrating the concept being explained. Links to video clips are in gold boldface, e.g. video clip The movie will close automatically at the end.
Demos: Demos provide an interactive
search experience using the following databases:
- Academic Search Premier, a general database
- Business Source Premier, a business database
- ERIC, an education database

a demo link the resulting screen is divided into two frames. Follow
the instructions in the left frame while typing responses in the
right frame. The right frame actually displays a "live" database. Please be patient as it may take a couple of minutes for
the database to load. Please complete all demos. When finished do
not log out. Click the button to return to xu.tutor.

these tutorials off-campus (at home, at work, etc.), the demos will
