10. Finding books, journals, and audiovisuals Xavier owns

Use Search@XU to find materials that Xavier owns. You can limit your search to books, articles or audiovisuals that are owned by Xavier.

Another way to find to find books, journals or magazines, audiovisuals, and other materials that Xavier owns is by using XPLORE, the Library's online catalog.

XPLORE contains a record for each book, journal or magazine, and audiovisual owned by the library. Information describing each item is stored in fields for the author, title, subject, date, etc.

To access XPLORE click the XPLORE/OhioLINK tab and begin searching by Keyword, Author, Title, or Subject.

XPLORE indicates where materials are located,what type of materials they are, their call numbers, and if they are available

If the book is available electronically, a link is provided within XPLORE to the full-text.

You may also search XPLORE by specific journal, magazine, or newspaper title to see if Xavier owns it.
