In this demo you will use a keyword to identify appropriate subject terms.

If necessary, follow the remote authentication instructions on your screen.

You are viewing Academic Search Complete, a general database.

Type the keywords, computer games in the first line of the search box.

Click the Search button. The database will return a list of documents. At the top of the blue box on the left hand side, you will see a total number of results for your search term.

As you look at the list of documents, you can see the Subjects listed underneath the citation.

Scroll down the list and write down some of the subjects that you find in addition to the subject COMPUTER games.

You may find additional subjects for your search; e.g. AVATARS, SECOND Life

Click on an article to click on any of the other subject terms.

The database will return a new list of documents assigned to that subject.

Do not log out. Click the back button below to return to xu.tutor.
