Your library record is the best-kept secret at Xavier! It provides the following information:
The items you have checked out
The title and author of the item
Call number
Barcode number
The date each item is due
How many times each item has been renewed
The items you have placed on hold (OhioLINK requests)
XPLORE searches you have saved
The status of any outstanding OhioLINK requests (holds)
Requested (you submitted the request)
In Transit (on its way to Xavier via the state-wide courier system)
Received (you can pick it up in Xavier's library)
Your fines if you have any
The most important thing you can do in your library record is renew items that are going to be overdue, are now overdue or recently became overdue. You can then renew these items right in your library record! You can renew items 7 days before they are overdue and 7 days after they are overdue. You even get a reminder in your Xavier email account to do this, complete with a link to your library record. How easy is that!
To satisfy this step complete the following tasks. Be sure to have your ALL Card handy.
Enter your first and last name in the first textbox
Enter your 14-digit ID number on the bottom of your ALL Card in the second textbox. Be sure to include any leading zeros.
If this does not work, call the Reference Desk at 513 745-4808 and they will troubleshoot your problem.
If you successfully requested OhioLINK materials in the previous step, you should see them listed here in your library record. Complete the following tasks:
Click the request (Holds) link in the top part of your screen.
Your OhioLINK request will display in the bottom part of your screen.
Highlight the entire bottom part of the screen displaying your library record and copy it.
Create a new entry in your Blackboard e-portfolio (Expo Directory) and paste the content from your library record into the new entry.
