Sometimes you discover the articles you want in a bibliography at the end of a book, book chapter, or another article. This is a perfectly legitimate way to do research. To get a copy of these articles you need to find the journals in which the articles appear. Use the following process to check the availability of a journal.
Under the Journals tab, in the Quick Links section, click JOURNALS @ XU icon.
To find each article, type the name of the journal the article was published in.
After each of the 6 citations in this bibliography type the method you had to use (Print/Microform, Full-Text, or Document Delivery) to obtain a copy of the articles in the bibliography. This is where you follow the 3-step procedure outlined in the instructions above.
Be sure to check the dates of your article against the dates of available full-text.
Follow the links all the way to the full-text (if available) of the article.
After you are finished save the Word document to your computer desktop under a new name .
Create a new entry in your Blackboard e-portfolio.
Upload the Word document into your new Blackboard e-portfolio entry.
