26 Steps to Infromation Fluency

Step 1. ALL Card

The ALL Card is the official form of identification for the Xavier University community. However, it is much more... The ALL Card is a multi-functioning campus card. In addition to serving as a form of identification to access University facilities, information on your ALL Card permits you to access MyXU (Xavier's campus portal) and special library resources and services, as well as to complete the subsequent Steps to Information Fluency.

It is ESSENTIAL that you get your ALL Card. Returning students should already have an ALL Card. ALL new students and any returning students who never picked up their ALL Card need to go to the ALL Card Center in the Gallagher Student Center (GSC), Second Level, Room 270.

Complete the following tasks to satisfy the first step to information fluency:

  1. Click this link to view the ALL Card Center's hours of operation.
  2. View these directions to get to Xavier University.
  3. View this map to discover how to get to the ALL Card Center.
  4. View these ALL Card services.
  5. View these ALL Card FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions).
  6. Go to Xavier's ALL Card Center and pick up your ALL Card.
  7. Bring the following documents with you when you go to pick up your ALL Card:
    1. A valid picture ID (i.e. driver's license, state ID card, etc.).
    2. A copy of current class registration OR a copy of a recent Bursar's statement
